By day, I am an educator. I get to teach children the beauty and love of reading each time I go to work. My husband is a firefighter, and can fix literally anything! I am one lucky gal.
Together we are raising two amazing, energetic, and creative kids. Our son, Cole, is ten years old and is the smartest kid I know. He is a natural reader (like his momma)...and, yes I take full credit for that. He also loves football like his momma and he's learning to play the guitar. One of my favorite times of the day is when he says his goodnight prayer. Sometimes the words God gives him are so inspiring, and not what you'd expect to hear from a ten year old.
Our daughter, Emma Grace, was nicknamed "Hurricane" when she was little by her grandpa. Not Pumpkin, Cutie Pie, or words painting the picture of a little princess. Yep, when she entered a room, it was "Lookout! Here comes the Hurricane." She wasn't bad or misbehaving, she was and still is in to EVERYTHING! However, she IS our princess. Let me say that she is the most beautiful brown-eyed girl in the world. If something is lost, she can find it, and at six years old, she stands tall next to her fifth grade brother, coming above his shoulders now. She loves to write, draw, sing, and dance. Her first recital is coming up in May, and LOTS of pictures will be taken.

We love our church, My Church, and welcome you to visit any time. We have connected with so many real, imperfect, & faithful friends that are learning to walk with God and help people come to know Jesus. I am a fairly new blogger, and I love the concept of documenting the journey of life, parenthood, and living by faith for friends and family to read. So, welcome to this thing we call life!
